Father Gregory visits all members of the Church to pray with them in the place where they live, and to bless their surroundings with Holy Water. He asks God to have mercy on the house, to rid it of every evil and to fill it with every blessing. The blessing of homes is a custom of special beauty and significance.
We ask Christ to bless and enter into our homes and our lives. We ask Him to be with us, as we desire to be with Him. We ask that by the sprinkling of blessed water, the Holy Spirit renew us, our families and our lives in our homes.
With Love In Christ,
Father Gregory

to schedule a house blessing >
for information on getting ready for a blessing >

Four Evangelists Orthodox Church http://www.4evangelists.org/news_100117_1.html 2/5/12 - National Scout Sunday http://www.4evangelists.org/news_120131_1.html Sun, 01 Jan 2012 00:00:00 -0500

On Sunday, February 5, 2012, Scouts all over the United States will celebrate National Scout Sunday. This Sunday is set aside to honor God and to remind us that we are all His Creatures and made in His Image or more precisely, to image (reflect) Him to the world.
